Here's a Delicious Butter Chicken Recipe




Ingredients:

  • 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish


Instructions:

  • In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until they turn translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  • In a small bowl, combine the garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, and paprika. Mix well and add this spice mixture to the skillet. Stir everything together to coat the onions, garlic, and ginger with the spices.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are lightly browned on all sides.
  • Pour in the tomato puree and stir well to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and sugar. Season with salt to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

Serve the butter chicken hot with steamed rice or naan bread. Enjoy the rich and flavorful dish!

Note: You can adjust the spiciness of the dish by adding more or less paprika or chili powder according to your preference.
